Measuring the performance of your warehousing labour hires

If they can hire the right personnel for their warehouse division, they will be able to hit their targets. Increase the odds of choosing the right employees

Measure employee turnover

An important metric to measure monthly is the employee turnover rate.  Track all the different variables such as; employees who left during training and how many left once they graduated from the training process. Set new standards and targets

Now that you have tangible metrics, you can provide feedback to employees on what they are doing well and where they need to improve. It is important to make them feel like they are part of a team effort, so always be encouraging in your feedback. You can track any subsequent changes in their performance after receiving feedback. Those who still do not reach the right standards can be replaced by more productive workers found through labour hire agencies.
