Hauling Trash Yourself is Less Expensive

While the skip bin is definitely a convenient option, it isn't always a budget-friendly one. With hauling trash yourself, all you have to pay for is the small fee to get into the dump. This is usually not too high, and most often less than what a skip bin rental is going to cost you. If you're on a tight budget, compare the costs of gas and dump fees to what it costs to rent the skip bin. You might find that after completing an expensive remodel, you would rather save money in this area.

Skip Bins Allow You to Keep Up With the Waste

When you are hauling the trash yourself, you will most likely put it in a pile in your yard or somewhere in your home, and keep it there until the renovations are over. At this point, you will need to haul it all into your pickup truck and head to the dump.
